Viking Pirate Ship in Cyprus
19th February 2011
One of our engineers traveled to Ayia Napa in Cyprus to replace the DC drive on a pirate ship fairground ride with a Sprint PLX65.
We shipped the tools and components and had our engineer meet them in Cyprus and provided technical support to him from our workshop.
We have had engineers travel to all parts of Europe and beyond, including Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai.
Landfill Gas Extractor
25th January 2011
Our client extracts methane gas from a landfill site in Yorkshire to run generators and produce electricity for the national grid.
We programmed a Hitachi L300P inverter to accurately control the supply of gas to the engines.
We have worked on a number of applications which require delicate and accurate control based on numerous factors.
Heavy Duty Crash Gate
11th January 2011
We recently visited a high security site with a Terra Gate heavy duty crash gate. That has been tested to withstand a 7.5tonne impact at 50mph and remain operable.
We needed to install and commission a replacement for the faulty inverter that controls the opening and closing of the gate.
Forklift Motor Testing Panel
16th September 2010
We were commissioned to build a panel for testing low voltage
motors from forklift trucks.
Having been given a list of motors as an example, and told that there would
be more at other specifications, we chose a 5.5/7.5kW Yaskawa V1000
inverter, CIMR-VC4A0018FAA, and fed the output into a transformer
that would drop the voltage to the required level.
Once it was complete one of our engineers took the panel to the customer's
site and installed it, we also supplied free software that could
store the parameters of various motor types, which the engineer installed
on their laptop and demonstrated.
We have built many panels for test purposes in the past, including one for testing Pendolino train motors.
