Our
client extracts methane gas from a landfill site in Yorkshire.
The gas is then used to run 20 cylinder engines that turn generators and
produce 1.3MW of electricity which is put back into the national grid.
We commissioned a Hitachi L300P-450HFE that would control the supply of gas to the engines.
This was worked in PID control to accurately control the supply of methane based on the demand by the engines.
We have worked on a number of applications which require
delicate and accurate control based on numerous factors.
